MCAA Midyear Meeting

A “special guest” welcomes attendees of the MCAA Midyear Meeting to Walt Disney World Resort during the MCAA Closing dinner at the Living Seas Salon at Epcot.

The 2013 MCAA Midyear Meeting was held Oct. 2-4, 2013, at Walt Disney World Resort. Attendees and their families were able to participate in fun and educational events throughout the week, while experiencing the magic of Walt Disney World.

Attendees were welcomed to the MCAA Midyear Meeting by some familiar characters before kicking off the festivities with a night at the Magic Kingdom Park.

The MCAA hosted committee meetings on Thursday morning, where each committee presented a brief overview of accomplishments from the past year and goals for the upcoming year. Thursday afternoon attendees were invited to the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 Florida Regional. The evening concluded with “Fantasmic!” Show, a 30-minute fireworks and water extravaganza.

Friday morning, members took an active role in shaping the future of the association and the masonry industry during the MCAA Board Meeting. Following the meeting, the MCAA will hosted its popular Networking Round Table Discussions where attendees were able to make new connections and share ideas about marketing, safety, project management and a variety of other topics.

The 2013 MCAA Midyear Meeting concluded Friday night at Epcot. Attendees were treated to dinner at the Living Seas Salon, where the only things separating the group from 6 million gallons of water and 3,000 varieties of sea life were giant glass panels. The night culminated in the ultimate finale, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth – an incredible fireworks show with lasers and music.
