MCAA Midyear Meeting 2019: Bretton Woods, New Hampshire

This year’s MCAA Midyear meeting will be held September eight through 11th in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. The Omni Mount Washington Resort is where you will find all the activities and meetings that will take place this year. This New England favorite and National Landmark is filled with rich history, a classic Donald Ross-designed golf course, nine zip lines, and numerous dining facilities.  

The Omni Mount Washington Resort was crafted by 250 master craftsmen over the course of two years. Envisioned by industrialist Joseph Stickney, this landmark opened in 1902 and has been attracting families ever since. Bretton Woods is home to tons of activities ranging from golfing to shopping, canopy rides to tennis, wilderness walks and more.

Optional Event: MAC PEC Golf Tournament 

The 18-hole Mount Washington Course was designed by legendary Scottish Architect Donald Ross and was completed in 1915. Its backdrop features New Hampshire’s spectacular Presidential Mountain Range. This Par 72, 7,004-yard-course has hosted four New Hampshire Opens and the prestigious New England Open Championship in September 2010. 

Prizes will be awarded for First Place TeamSecond Place TeamLongest DriveClosest to the PinLast Place. All proceeds will support the MAC PEC. 

Players must wear soft spikes and shirts with collars. No jeans or denim permitted.

Includes the class with supplies, as well as the instruction you will need to complete the painting. The class will include one glass of wine per person and lunch.

The MCAA Board Meeting is structured to allow interaction and participation from members. Members of the MCAA are asked to attend and take an active role in shaping the future of the association and the masonry industry. An update on activity of all committees will be given as well.

Networking Roundtable Discussions 

Networking Round Table Discussions will engage different positions within a masonry company. The group will address and discuss issues of relevance to the duties they perform. The session will have an appointed leader from within the segment. That person will initiate conversation and coordinate the time for the group. Attendees should be prepared to participate in conversation about the issues at hand and should be willing to share best practices. 

This is a great opportunity to openly discuss topics with other peers from around the country in a non-competitive atmosphere and for your company to walk away with a host of new best practices to implement in your company.
