U.S. Concrete Acquires Two Ready-Mixed Concrete Operations

U.S. Concrete Inc.’s wholly owned subsidiary, Ingram Concrete, has acquired the assets of City Concrete Inc., in Wichita Falls, Texas, and Pitts Ready Mix of Burkburnett Inc., in Burkburnett, Texas. A total of three concrete plants and 24 ready-mixed concrete trucks were acquired.

Growth by acquisition has been a successful model for the West Texas business unit. “We are excited to further expand our footprint in West Texas with the acquisition of these ready-mixed concrete operations,” says U.S. Concrete President and CEO William J. Sandbrook. “We will continue to seek opportunities to strengthen our presence within our regional markets, as well as to grow around those areas while leveraging our existing management and infrastructure.”
