29 September 2016 — North Carolina high schools with masonry programs are gearing up for Masonry Education Day, to be held Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Ben Ketchie Park, Gold Hill, N.C.

A fun-filled day is planned for masonry students, but administrators, guidance counselors and CDCs are also encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided, and the event will be of no cost to the students.

Numerous companies there to help, including Johnson Concrete Company, Pro Block, and Stalite.

This event is intended to encourage high school students to do well in masonry and show them all aspects of the Industry in ways that may be difficult in the classroom setting.

In case of rain, the event is scheduled for the following day, Nov. 16, 2016.
