BAC Craft Awards
The International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (BAC) presented a total of 26 awards to BAC craftworkers, officers and union contractors at an awards ceremony held in conjunction with its spring Executive Council meeting in St. Louis in June. Now in its 21st year, the BAC Craft Awards program recognizes the talented professionals who continue to drive North America's masonry industry forward.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, BAC President John J. Flynn praised this year's recipients, saying, "Your achievements, which honor the rich history, tradition and artistry of skilled masonry craftsmanship, have contributed so much to ensuring a brighter, stronger future not only for BAC craftworkers and contractors, but for the communities in which we live and work."
The International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (BAC), headquartered in Washington, D.C., represents 100,000 skilled masonry workers in the United States and Canada. With over a century of protecting the rights of workers, BAC is the oldest continuous construction union in North America. To learn more about BAC, visit www.bacweb.org.
