MCAA Masonry Showcase 2002 Review

The winners of the 2002 International Excellence in Masonry Award Contest were announced on February 6 in Phoenix, Arizona. The purpose of the awards program is to give recognition to mason contractors and building owners for outstanding accomplishments in masonry design and construction. Projects are judged on overall design excellence and creative use of brick, block, stone, glass block or tile. Judges also focused on aesthetic and technical design achievement, as well as masonry craftsmanship. The winners are as follows:
