Capable of traveling up to 400 feet high at a speed of 35 feet per minute, the new Max ClimberTM 7700 double-masted work platform is ideal for lightweight projects such as tuckpointing, caulking and restoration work. Unlike traditional platforms, the Max Climber 7700 can be simply installed, without requiring a forklift or a crane to set up. When taken apart, the mast sections are broken down into five-foot sections each weighing only 110 pounds. Additionally, it offers increased load capacity, stronger base units each using four 2.2 Kw motors and rugged aluminum deck sections. The platform measures 90 feet in length and 6.5 feet in width. Hilti Inc.
Tulsa, Okla.

New Products for Masonry Contractors

Designed to meet 2006 EPA emission requirements, the new Hilti DS-HS line of handheld gas saws deliver the power you need, when you need it. Due to a longer stroke on the piston, the DS-HS saws provide improved performance in deep cuts. Featuring a narrow body design, DS-HS saws also have Smart PowerTM, which provides flat torque power curve to help maintain constant blade speed under load. The line employs exhaust baffles with spark arrestor; sealed triple filtration system with metal main filter; digital coil; and adjustable, double reinforced guard. Solid steel flanges can be reversed for a one inch or 20 mm arbor. For more information, call (877) 881-8004, or visit www.hilti.com.
