Design with Brick 2005
Seven architectural design firms from North and South Carolina and their building partners were recognized for exceptional skill and creativity in designing with brick at the Design with Brick 2005 awards presentation. The event was held during the American Institute of Architects North Carolina Convention Awards Gala on Saturday, August 6. The winners of the biennial competition, sponsored by Brick SouthEast, were honored at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Va.
The 17 member companies of Brick SouthEast produce more than half of the brick supply in the United States and represent both the largest and smallest brick manufacturers in the world. Headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., with a second office in Conyers, Ga., Brick SouthEast is dedicated to the advancement of brick products in the Southeastern United States, providing support for consumer marketing, professional educational programs and industry development.
